Year 2024
Despite the challenging global environment, both chrome ore and ferrochrome production increased in 2024. Chrome production across the globe grew by 9% year on year, reaching 39.20Mt, while ferrochrome production rose by 15% year on year, driven notably by China and Indonesia, reaching 18.51 Mt.
